International Children’s Games Hamilton Inc.

A celebration of children’s sports, the Games, calls youth from all over the world to meet each other and become friends in the context of a sports event held exclusively for them. Every year a different country will host international youth, age  15 and under, for a week of fun-filled games, sporting events, festivals, and more.  The event puts emphasis on sporting ideals, respect, and understanding different cultures and ways of thinking. The aim of the Games is to create strong bonds of friendship and solidarity between young athletes from all over the world. A truly opportunity of lifetime for all participants.

It has been 25 year’s since our first participation at the International Children’s Games in Uzgorod, Ukraine in June of 1990. Since that time our Volunteer Committee in partnership with the city of Hamilton, Recreation Division have provided the opportunity to hundreds of young athletes to participate and improve their athletic skills by visiting different nations of the world while making new friends and being good ambassadors for our city and country.
